The first seemed bloated due to WAY more GS beds than necessary, way more ORs than necessary, and not enough emergency clinic offices. Simply put, I can keep prestige above 90% with 200 employees in the second hospital, but not the first. But if we’re staying within the cap, there is no way you can have all departments open and keep all those extra OR rooms busy. If we’re ignoring the cap, perhaps the first hospital IS superior. 17500 is one-floor max size and you have to build 6 floors to utilize full FAR of 1 Lakh sqft. Some people get confused if we can build 1 Lakh sqft on 1 acre and ground coverage is 17500 sqft, what is this. “Ignoring the cap” is the critical element here. For example, if the land size is one acre you can’t build on one floor more than 43560 x 40 17500 sqft per floor. Besides the staff issues of course what made you like the second one more? I'm interested in what made you choose the second one since it uses less space and has less staff slots. Ignoring the cap I've found the first one far superior. Taking note of the design differences and similarities between the two has been a great learning experience. I could not get the first one to run well within the cap, but the second one works great. I had not enough janitors to keep everything kind of clean and i was constantly short on staff. I tried to play the big sandbox pre-build hospital with 200 people but it did not work. The only moment where i have a short freeze happens at shift change when the "troops" arrive. My Ryzen 7 is strong enough to calculate the pathfinding without much issues. I played with 455 employees and my performance was fine. :-)Įdit: I'm really curious if you're noticing a big performance hit at 600 employees compared to how it played when you were at 200. 3rd and 4th floors will include additional Med/Surg units and DOU. Most importantly, you can do all this while keeping Prestige consistently above 90%, day in, day out. largest construction project in the history of Ventura County. I don't disagree that a higher cap would be very much appreciated, but you really can have all departments open, 90 patients per day, all 5 ambulances delivering patients, AND stay within the 200 employee cap. Although the necessary amount of flooring is. Around 85.000 m2 of vinyl flooring and almost 13.000 m2 of textile flooring are installed in the new hospital.
